Lizzy began working in special education in 2018 and entered the field of behavior analysis in 2021. Inspired by growing up with a younger brother with autism, she pursued a career focused on helping individuals build independence and improve their quality of life. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2023 before moving from California to Arizona to continue her career in behavior analysis. That same year, she joined Bista and completed her internship while earning a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University in 2025. Her professional interests include early intervention, functional communication, adaptive skill development, and teaching functional replacement behaviors. Outside of work, Lizzy enjoys spending time outdoors, doing puzzles, and volunteering.
